There was nothing wrong with it, just a bit confusing.
Pin1 : Pin2: Pin3
+12v : GND : Trigger
Red : Blk : Green <--- wire colors I used in my picture
RY : BY : GY <--- '02 WRX harness colors
It was just reversed compared to the picture right below it
Pin1: Pin2: Pin3
Trig :GND:+12V
Green Black Red
matches the pic below.
