I was in the same boat. I drive alot and could run through the 070 in 6 to 8 months. At the price those go for, I was looking for a longer lasting option. I knew I would give up performance but I am buying a set of dedicated wheels and tires for the fall auto-x season and need something to run on the street. I went with the FK452. I ran these during the spring season and they weren't to bad. They seem to be holding up pretty good as well. They do seem a bit soft but anything will after running the 070. We had some pretty good rain a while back and they handled it with no problem. I was looking at the RS2 and 615's but I was worried about the wet traction. Since I live in Phoenix, the roads get pretty greasy when it does rain and during monsoon we can get quite a bit. I decided I would run one of those on the dedicated set.

Anyway, that is my experience with the 452. Take it as you will.

By the way, I puchased these from vulcan tire online for under $500 with road hazard in 235/45-17. Had them mounted for $52.
