EDIT: i see what your saying ritky it would be interesting if it would be possible to make a circuit that would allow for the regular refeltor highs to be used for flashing when the lows are off, but the highs in the projectors be used when the lows are on. Jdbubya is this possible?
I do not believe so, its been a week or two since i was looking at a wiring diagram for 04-05's for a similar question, but its my understanding that you would have to modify the stalk on the steering column to accopmplish this as they use the same wires as the regular highbeams. Also I noticed that on the 06-07 STi's they turn on both the low and the high beam with flash to pass... which makes no sense as the low beam is HID and this quick on off is bad for the bulb and or ballast.
Either way since all subaru headlights (atleast all impreza and legacy headlights) use a switched ground system if they low's dont already stay on with the highs it would be exactly the same things as on an 02-03 just re-route the ground for the coil in the lowbeam relay to the chassis rather than to the old wire. exactly as you have it in your diagram will work just fine.
