Twin Disc Exedy, 5500RPM LC, slip the clutch I pull a 1.7 60's no problem.
The only bad advice in is some of the when to shift parts. It all depends where you make that peak power. A good 1/4 mile tune means holding 90% of your max power all the way to your shift point (rev limit), otherwise your just wasting gas.
So basically you need to shift at the point you are no longer making that power. what good is going to your rev limit if you drop 150WHP from max to rev. you might have to shift more than the next person but thats the nature of the game.
I may only make 372WHP on my 20psi pump tune but I still maintain 96% of my peak max WHP at 7500RPMs. I sacrifice a little on paper (dyno #'s) but I haul ass through all gears
