I have seen huge #'s on E85 in comparsion to pump gas. I'm sure something was wrong with the state of tune or the tune of your motor (you can run more lean, in terms of lamba, than you do gasoline, and you can add a bit of timing back in too).

If I'm telling you things you already know, and you have messed with that, why not bump up the fuel pressure? I thought I have seen guys run fp's on walbro 255hp pumps pretty darn high (70/80/90 psi, I would have to search).
