It's easier for the dealer to do it because they can hook it up to the computer, enter in the remote numbers and the remote is programmed. There is no 'mechanical' method for them. It's enter some numbers, and it's done.

I agree, the newer 'teardrop' remotes are alot harder to program, but the older ones I can do before the customer can blink twice.
