I've run the turbo diesel oil for a year now, put about 25+ k on the odometer. it burns no oil, ever. I go 5,000 miles on every oil change and its never nasty gunky ass thick.

after using it for 3 months or so i had a engine oil analysis done. i cant remember the terms they put it in from blackstone or w/e it was but my engine was fiving cherry for the 65K that where on it. it had less particle contaminants then what is the "good" scale in their % they gave me. basically they said .02-.10% is ok and mine where at .01 or just none. they also said my engine was running so good and from what they found from the oil i used is that i could go 7800k inbetween changes based on the analysis. thats nuts to me, i do 5k which i still think is pushing it. used to always do 3k with my JDM f20b swapped accord. i ran mobile 1 in that as well, just not this oil.

not sure if its cuz i'm the second owner and the first owner treated this thing better then his wife and kids...or if its cuz i run that certain oil...or what. not sure its the oil since i only had been running it for 3-4 months before the oil analysis.

How is the diesel oil working out for you? How many miles are on your car? Did you have some sludge build up in your motor or something, and figured the added detergents would help clean it? Or do you use it more to keep it clean in the future?

The reason I am asking is that my POS daily driver Honda has a good deal of sludge buildup from the previous owner neglecting to change the oil often. I was thinking about switching to 10W30 diesel oil. I think Mobil makes that in the Delvac series as a mineral oil.
