LevelTen has a shifter device which is $1500. 'Nuf said.

They have torque converters and performance rebuild kits also, all three to the tune of about $3500.

I am researching a way to shift manually, athough not really Tiptronic, so give me some time. I've found about three solutions, but the cheapest is $1226. Still too much $$$ for me.

I have a neighbor who is head mechanic at a local Subaru dealer, and I hope to pick his brain a lot. I have two goals:

1. Manually shift the transmisison up/down at will
2. Increase line pressure when shifting for crisper shifts and more performance.

Both can be done, I just need research. I will probably go with a LevelTen TC and rebuild kit, but not their shifter.

Check my web site for occasional updates. (None this month... I've been lazy!)
