Quick question... Has any body in this thread driven a ZR-1?
Ah, right, so then it is a moot point as probably all of us have not and therefore have little say in the matter.
It's way out of my price range, but with the kind of numbers it puts down and with the majority of its reviews beaming with joy, I'd say it appears to be a supercar bargain. Show me a Ferrari that is any more reliable, even at double the cost... That's not a brand that's well known for reliability either.
And I'd be willing to bet that the ZR-1's large power to weight ratio advantage makes it more thrilling than even the very very good GT-R from Nissan. I've driven neither, so I could easily be wrong, but I feel that we're comparing a vehicle built using the normal supercar formula to a track-blazing techno car... Both great in their own way, but both built to give a different feel and purpose to essentially the same end.
