I got so confused researching into customs charges when the were having the OZ group buy.

For example, if you bought some aftermarket rims from the US, but are made in Italy, then I think it doesn't fall under NAFTA, so I think you'd get charged, along with GST if for personal use. I dunno...

It would be easier for me to take a nice trip down there, mount some rims and a Kartboy shifter and come back. Maybe look into a few tech. jobs too, hehe.

I suppose you could set up your "own" business, then buy stuff from the US. That way it's for resale so you don't pay GST at least...

I think I'll just pick up a bunch of stuff when I go on my trip to Japan instead of cross border shopping...

Any more takes on this?
