Yes, but I also wanted to upgrade to the stronger R180 hubs for rallying and so I can run Brembos for tarmac events and 4 pots for gravel events. Plus, my local rally shop has tons of 4-pot rotors for R180 hubs in stock. So, basically I'll be swapping brakes back and forth. Also, in rallying, you break axles and finding spare sets of DSS axles will become increasingly difficult. For the average high HP street car, DSS axles on WRX hubs would be more than adequate. Really, these axles are ideal for someone who has already invested in a brake kit for R160 hubs but also wants to do a 6MT swap with an R180 rear diff.
