Thanks for the reply mccainxx. I actually just ran to the local suby dealership and ordered a new shield for around 20 bux. I probably could have just bent it back, but i doubt it would still do its job properly, because I think I mangled it pretty good. My RSTi is my daily driver, so I don't want to take any chances...

I'm going to attempt to just undo the motor mounts and hoist the motor and tranny an inch or two to install the new shield. I refuse to pull the whole motor out to replace that cheap little bastard piece of sheet metal. I don't think the new part will arrive till the end of the week, but I'll post an update this weekend when I attempt to slap it in.
