2 Lesson's Learned
1. Just because the subaru electrical wiring book says that a plug pins out a certain way doesn't mean that it really does. TGV pins on the motor harness's plug where in a different row than on the Bulkhead harness plug. I did all of my continuity and power checks by splitting it at that plug. Took forever to figure out hey these pins are in row whatever and here they are in a different one. Doh
2. The Black/Red wires in the dash are both power and ground. Dont accidentally merge one of the grounds to one that supplies power. You will fry your ecu or Utec. Fortunately I was able to get it fixed really cheap.
I did the original swap in 2005 with a lot of help from the local guys in HR, got bored with the 2.0 and went 2.5 hyb in 07 I think. Over 50k since the original swap and still going.
