Question Reducing Exhaust Noise in Cabin

Just put in a new exhaust and although the sound outside of the car is certainly not as loud as many on the market, doesn't call a lot of attention to my car and most importantly I like it!

I do NOT want to put a silencer on my exhaust or hack it in any way.

The noise inside my wagon however is a bit louder than my wife would like. The low end drone takes a bit getting used to.

Wanted to know your opinions and feedback on:

1) the use of sound dampening material (i.e., Dynomat Extreme) in the doors and floor of the the trunk space as an effective way to reduce noise

2) Besides those places I mentioned, where else should I use the material in the car

I'd like to hear the opinions especially from all of the audiophiles with performance exhaust. I figure you would know most about the best method to get the most out of your audio AND performance.

Thanks ahead of time!
