Thanks for the reply. I've actually tested the TPS and have triend another one in its place.
The VSS circuit worked for quite some time (no wierd symptoms). I have a couple good hall effect sensors that I can fab a bracket and make it read off the CV. It would be something to try, although it goes into this wierd mode (sounds like 2-3 cylinders, really rough) right after start up sometimes, and I don't know how the VSS would make this happen. I'm also perplexed by the dying on the highway, its a timed interval, what in the ecu is based on time? After so many revolutions, so if I'm going faster the intervals are shorter?
