That's definitely something to consider for those of us looking for somewhat quiet exhaust with performance in mind. Headers allow the exhaust to flow more freely, so there is less resistance and therefor less noise as the restriction is eased. The same thing happend with my V8 other car.
Keep the posts coming, I'm still not sure what to go with. I want headers and exhaust eventually, but nothing too loud. I think if we knew how many dB's our exhausts are, we could differentiate one person's opinion of loud to another's.
