I think you need to learn a little bit more about head to block compatibility first before AVCS.
The '05 EJ257 has a wide combustion chamber. The edges of the 2.0L block will be on the INSIDE of the combustion chamber and will more than likely be a hot spot for detonation. That right there is the FLAW in your setup. You are better going with the JDM 2.0L heads over the USDM for head flow and head to block compatibility.
