Depends on the type of car. For Porsche's they come setup with a staggered wheel setup. For Subaru's you do NOT want to run a staggered setup as the car was not designed for that.
What you can do is run the same wheel size & width, but different offsets if you really wanted to, but if you are going to do that the lower offset should actually be placed on the front of our cars instead of the rear.
It's best just to use the same size, wheel, width & offset all around the car (as well as same brand, type and size of tires all around.
