Hey guys, For those of you who do know I am under going a EJ22T build for my WRX. I am using the stock crank and regular length eagle rods, I had a set of custom ROSS pistons made to over come the low CR people encounter when using the EJ22 block with WRX heads.
Yesterday I took the ring set out of the package to only find out that they are 88mm rings. ( ROSS pistons are 97mm) So after a few selected words i called up ROSS pistons and gave them my builders card number, just moments later the gentleman had told me that they had made a mistake and they had sent me the wrong rings... Noo *****... So i asked them if they could send me the proper rings, he then told me that the pistons were made to those rings and the only solution is to send them back and they will make a new set for me... That is great to hear, but i have already had my pistons ceramic coated. After speeking with the maneger they told me that they would have them coated for me as well for no axtra charge
So after all this was said and done I decided to install the pistons on the rods and then placed them in the block. When i rotated the assmebley to TDC this is what I ran into.

I need some help by you guys to help me solve this problem. I call ROSS again today and emailed them the these pictures and they told me to resend what exacly i need and they will try to make everything right the secondtime around..
Does anyone know what type of custom piston is needed to run the ej22t with WRX heads and no special rod lenghts?
I really hope someone can shine some light on this dark situation....
