Before I left the installer, we tested everything but we did not test autostarting when car is armed. This morning when i tried to autostart it when armed the alarm went off. So i thought it was the glass break sensor. So I went and took off the kick panel and totally unplugged the glass sensor. Then went to autostart it again and same thing happens. It will autostart fine if I unarm the alarm first then autostart. Any ideas?
Once it gets a signal to autostart, the brain will send a signal to disarm the factory alarm through the alarm disable wire before it starts it. If it gets another signal to shutdown, it will shutdown the car, and send another signal to rearm.
Im guessing, the factory alarm aint getting the signal, and its the factory alarm thats going off. What car do you have?
I know newer cars need the immob bypass install to get remote starting to work properly. And theres no wire to actually disarm the factory security.
