Yes! 100 times easier!
if you're not in a rush and can hang around for a few days I will work on that "master swap list" and will have ALL the details that are involved. 5MT to 6MT won't need a new wiring harness, it won't need an ECU reflash, it won' need the clutch master cylinder, line, pedals, but it will need a slave (I think, give me a few days on that too) you won't need the shifter trim inside of the car, you will need anew driveshaft (from a 4EAT) etc, there are a few differences. It will be cheaper and definitely easier.
