when we started the process of co-branding the ( GD chassis) T2's with Kw they only had street v3's and full on racing shocks. So there was ALOT of time spent making the v3's valving to be MUCH more aggressive and suitable for track duty and autocrossing. The T2 Clubsports are for the later GR chassis and based upon the clubsports and required less work to get to the same point with regards to valving changes.

Well the Ohlins DFV are good and I am not in a habit of starting the blank vs blank thing, but the Kw's have more travel and that makes a big difference on the street and track even with higher rates. So its a preferene thing. Some guys like Ohlins, some are Bilstein lovers and some are Koni/ AST/ JRZ lovers.
Each has a fine purpose and an ultimate end user to please.
