Couldnt he just change the backing plate in the rear to a 06-07 WRX that came with the Subaru 4/2 pot brakes, install the Brembo Caliper, and run a 06-07 WRX rear disc?

I would have ran the 04 STi Rotor on the front off my stock 5x100 hubs and the front Brembo caliper; change the backing plates on the rear to 06-07, and just ran a smaller rotor on the rear with the rear Brembo caliper. The 06-07 rear rotors are still bigger than stock, and vented.

IIRC Brembo calipers bolt the same way the Subaru 4 pots and 2 pots do.
