I would have ran the 04 STi Rotor on the front off my stock 5x100 hubs and the front Brembo caliper; change the backing plates on the rear to 06-07, and just ran a smaller rotor on the rear with the rear Brembo caliper. The 06-07 rear rotors are still bigger than stock, and vented.

IIRC Brembo calipers bolt the same way the Subaru 4 pots and 2 pots do.
The 06 rear wrx disc is different

I think you can swap backing plates like that. That would save you the brackets.

Brackets are $250 - backing plates are less but harder to do?

Still need the smaller parking brake rotor though if you want the park brake to work.
