already checked the plug to the MAF, didnt fix the problem. havent checked the connection to the ECU yet. waiting for my friend to get back to swap out the MAF. thanks to everyone for the input
I saw another thread on here about a guy that found a broken fire inside the electrical harness plug. If it is the ground wire the voltage can float and easily trigger your codes.
It looked as if the plug was forced on and in the process pushed the copper pin out through the back. Worth a look. You may need to ohm out the pins back to the ECU plug if the MAF swap doesn't help.
