I can tell you this... If you go from a WRX 2.0 pan to an STi (or 06+ WRX, Legacy GT, Forester XT) oil pan you WILL need to change the pickup too. The baffling is different, the angle of the pickup is different and the depth the pickup goes into the pan is different.

So let us know what header you decide on and we'll go the next step
I was able to use my stock 2.0L pickup on my 2.5L oil pan. However I had to whack the pickup a few times to get it where it needed to be. I wouldn't recommend doing it but it worked for me and has been for a year now. I'll be removing it all soon.....Killerb pan and pickup going in with a new motor
