I'm looking at getting 17" wheels after I get my car. (The dealer 17s are to much $$$) From my dealer I see:
Available as a dealer option will be 17x7-inch wheels and 215/45R17 tires.
Are the 215/45R17 tires on the dealer 17s considered 'low profile' tires? I would prefer not since I tend to drive a car hard and don't care to replace the tires every 6-10mo.
The reason I ask is that if I put my own 17" wheels on I want to be sure a standard sized tire will fit as well.
