I really like the look more than the 911. I recommend the GT-R for looks, value and much better performance at about same cost. Keep in mind the GT-R is a truly limited production car of less than 2500 per year so will also have better resale. The Cayman plummets in 2 years to near half orig. cost.
About the same cost? Boring to drive and whinny sounding? I don't think you drove a cayman s. Its so boring to drive that its been called the best driver's car or sports car made now even beating out the gtr (which is an amazing technical marvel but not a driver's car) by multiple reviews. As far as plummeting to half its value do your research a 2 year old cayman s runs about $45000 to $50000 in good condition hardly half its value.

Do I think the Cayman could be better with more power, yes, is it boring to drive, hell no. I've had a good bit of seat time in one and I would gladly replace my 400 whp sti with one if given the chance based purely on performance and feel never-mind the fit and finish which is top notch.
