I prefer the Nokian WR. Been running them for 2 years on the Baja and 2 years before that on a Saab, and must say that they are the best wet weather tire I have driven on. Not sure about other manufactures, but the siping (sp) is molded, not cut, into the tire. I have about 50% tread left and they still have the siping. As a plus, if the conditions warrant it, they are rated as a "studless snow", so with the AWD of the Scoobie, no chaining needed
