Just like BB the actual weight of the wheel should not noticeably affect steady acceleration runs, like a dyno run or a street 3rd or 4th gear 2000-7000 rpm run.

What it will do is help with response, and boost recovery after a gear change (assuming not FFS).

Think about it, it is science, and all makes sense.
