well finally got my prosport wideband installed today. i had the car tuned about a year ago. i was told that the afr was around 11.1, however when i took the car down the road today at wot the afr was 10 or below (the gague only reads as low as 10 and high of 20). another thing i noticed is when i let off the fuel going down a hill it will hold 20 as long as i let it drift, is this right? when the wb reads 10 or 20 for 3 secs it will start blinking to warn you.
the instructions said you could calibrate the gague, but they do not go into any reasons why you should do this or even if it is necessary for the gague to read properly. do you have to calibrate these before they read properly?
