^^^ obviously there is some confusion about bulb technology. a 9007 (low), H1 high, & h3 (fog) in the OE set up all are 55w bulbs. The 9007 having a slightly different element design, but the fundamental output is the same.

Its the HOUSING/REFLECTOR combination that makes the difference. Look @ the output/beam difference between say a Hella fog versus a driving lamp. The bulb is the exact same, the housing/reflector is drastically different.

The housing design has a far more important impact than the bulb spec (9007/H1/H3)
