OK...I have a 2" drop on my 2002 WRX wagon. I'm planning to go up to Northstar on Wednesday, but I recently checked the road conditions. They are saying that chains are required for all vehicles except AWD cars. So that obviously doesn't include me. However, I have never driven in road conditions where snow chains were required and just wanted to make sure that my 2" drop won't make my AWD suffer in the snow.
I know that I have more oversteer with my car lowered, but what will the minimal driving effect be in the snow? Also, does this 2" drop have enough clearance in the fender for snow and chains?
Can't wait to go up! Crossing fingers for good weather. Thanks!
