I'm not a fan of using goo-gone or any other cleaner like that on paint. What actually worked out quite well after razor blading most of the adhesive off was regular 87 octane gasoline on a microfiber rag. Cleaned it up really easy and as far as I know, doesn't damage the paint.
Thanks for the additional info... I was about to use some gas but was more scared about that ruining the paint than goo-off.
Have you tried paint thinner or any alcohol wipes on the paint? I used it on my old car and worked great for painting and adhesives but read that our car's paint is very thin.
