But then he has to reactivate those sensors every time he swaps wheels, which is a pain. I find the ideal setup is to get a second TPMS box synced to that second set and swap it in when you swap your wheels. That way you retain the benefit of TPMS without completely disabling it. Others will have their opinions; this is mine.
