Well, I've made a few prototypes but have yet to test them as I'm currently overhauling the engine. My 2 prototypes are made out of a 2" PVC pipe (other is a 3" pipe). The concept internally is a funnel like cylinder that forces the air into a 'cyclone' (much like Dyson's concepts which are from saw mills dust systems).

Air enters from either heads near the top of the AOS at a tangent. The air will exit at the top of the canister, but internally be below either inlets. So: as air enters the canister it simply cannot exit without spinning throughout the funnel shape. The idea with the funnel is to increase velocity which should encourage heavier particles to be expelled outwards... The trick I figure is to get the right funnel shape that will allow oil to drop to the bottom and be collected, while keeping velocity as high as possible which aids in oil removal.
