The lash adjusters in the SVX are hydraulic. We popped one valve cover and checked them out, they look to be moving freely with the lobes.

The valvetrain on the EG33 is a bit odd. It's a quad-cam engine, but only the exhausts are driven by the timing belt. There are scissor gears inside the valve covers that drive the intakes off the exhaust cams. Tomorrow will likely involve pulling both valve covers to make sure the valves are synced properly with the pistons.
