Anyways, brought the car in to have my clutchmasters stage 2 checked out and it turns out it was glazed, after 1800 miles. And in another fun turn of events it was a SPEC clutch they sent, not a clutchmasters. Vendor is taking it back for full refund.
I went back to stock clutch and flywheel and I am not looking back. Grab is fine, and no more grinding on deceleration in every gear (just 2nd gear the way this 5mt always seems to).

Just remembered this thread is about transmissions.
