I've seen clutches taken out in less then 3000 miles before. and they were operator error. it doesn't need to involve a track to do this and it doesn't need to be launched.
True, but you would know you burned up the clutch. The smoke and stink would give it away.
you would think so... but I have had people tow in their vehicles because it lost power on the hwy. turns out the clutch was toast and stank like you wouldn't believe. for some odd reason they never noticed the smell.
