I am working on installing a JDM v8 Spec-C engine in a Porsche 914. I have most of the wiring sorted out, however I have been informed that to make the AVCS function properly, I will need the vehicle speed sensor and the neutral position switch. I am not running a Subaru transmission and therefore do not have either of these.

Can anyone provide some input to exactly what is required to make the AVCS function and why?
