I dont know about Gorilla, but i can say from experience that the oem mcgard locks are pos. when i was getting my winter tires put on at discount tire, the key broke so they had to hammer on the removal socket. when i looked at the break in the key design, it looked like the key was made from cheap plastic. mcgaurd has the right idea about having the locking design on the inside of the lug instead of the outside. they just need to refine their manufacturing process to prevent breaking. Im pretty sure Gorilla has lock nuts with the lock design on the inside instead of the perimeter of the lugs. This just my $.02
