Well at the risk of being devils advocate let me put on my flame suit.
Why did this happen in the first place?
I know Rota makes a good economical product but more and more often I see threads about their wheels failing. And I’m sorry; fixing it after the fact is just not good enough in my book. Especially when it is something as critical as a wheel. What if I buy some Rota’s that fail while I am on the highway at 70MPH, or at the track? Will I be provided with new wheels?
Rota’s customer service is very well established and as I mentioned they make a good economical product but I will remain VERY skeptical about putting their wheels on my car. I just would not feel safe at this point, and that is a shame because I love the SDR’s.
Until I am re-assured about their products I will be looking elsewhere for new wheels this spring. I would love to hear from you regarding this Mike.
