well, I am going for it. I mocked up the older block with the newer heads, the thinner gaskets from the mewer motor, timed it and ran it around by hand and everthing clears! I figure that the cp ratio will fall a little bit (8.8:1- 9.4:1) with the hp falling off alittle. The phase 2motor listed 142hp while the older listed 130hp, if the head chambers are the same, I figure I will be around the 130hp mark, if the heads are smaller, then it will just be get better. Not bad though for only having to buy the new gasket set! Also I found a G-force power chip that adds 60hp, plenty of torque and increases mileage 3-6 miles. That should suffice!
