I am looking into getting 17 inch rims. Here is question: The rims I want to buy I have a choice between 8x100 with 45mm offset, 8x114.3 with 45mm offset or 5x114 with 48mm offset. What exactly do these numbers mean and which of these sizes is best to get. I will be useing these wheels on an '02 WRX that is mostly street driven aggressively with a track event every other month. (I don't know if this info helps to answer the question)
