The cruise control is super easy. I removed it and put it back on.
It seemed to be a large function trade-off for a small weight loss. That all depends on where you drive.
If you commute to work and only drive long distances a few times a year, then you could easily install it only when needed.
in no particular order:
1. Unplug cruise control box, don't lose the rubber seal for the connector
2. Unbolt it.
3. Unscrew it from the throttle bracket.
4. Unhook it from the throttle body.
