Well then you're an ass. I bought my '02 off a lot with an AEM CAI and a Blitz BOV. I wasn't thrilled about it, but you know what? They're FINE and I didn't pay anything for them.

To the OP: You're looking at spending about $8000 (for NEW parts, much less if used) to get to 300whp out of the 2.0.
At a minimum you need:
Larger intercooler, either front mount or top mount
16g or 18g turbo or equivalent size. 18g would be easier to make the power, but laggier.
275lph+ fuel pump
STi or larger injectors
Colder plugs
Up pipe
Downpipe
Catback

To help things along a little, you can also (optionally) get your stock headers polished/ported with a crosspipe or get aftermarket headers. Your turbo inlet can also be swapped for something that would increase velocity to the turbo.

The route that I'm taking on my upgrade path is to start with the smallish bolt-on stuff that acts as supporting mods for big stuff. Then I can do the big stuff later at minimal momentary cash outlay. Lets face it, a better turbo is $1500-$1900, but all the stuff you need to run it safely will run you two times that.
