I joined the club today.

Pulled into a parking spot that had a dip in the pavement. Took my foot off the break, rolled into the dip and BARELY tapped the curb. Come around and bingo, a crack in the exact same place everyone else has one. Driver's side, right where it goes up. It's only 3 to 4 inches but with 2,700miles on the car, I want to murder someone. Took it in and got a quote for $534 to fix it or $700ish to replace it. Still debating on what to do.
