the whole story behind it was that it fit fine in the GC8 and didn't think it was necessary to change for the GDA. i was actually able to get 2 bolts in after about 30 minutes of trying out different techniques to get more than 1 bolt started. couldn't get any more, the holes are off by a tiny bit. i think it would have been easier for you to make the holes bigger with a dremel or a bigger drillbit and use a washer. even thoguh mine's only held on with 2 bolts, i tested the sturdiness of it and it's not going anywhere. i felt a difference in brake feel, it's kind of odd how they designed it though. if they knew about this in the previous models, i would have thought they could ahve improved the design. one idea off the top of my head would be to have some sort of threaded hole already in the master cylinder to bolt onto the bracket and make it sturdier instead of just sandwiching it between a bolt and the firewall.
