Different car, different bulbs, different wiring, different driving pattern, take your pick. You can choose to take it up with SOA, file a lawsuit, fix it yourself or use the e-brake. All I can say is that at 130k miles, I'm getting what I consider normal or even longer than expected bulb life, by not using the DRL. With so many new cars equipped with DRLs on the road now, I can't count the number of one eyed monsters I see on the road everyday and it doesn't surprise me one bit.
