Not a bad tire but not the best either. OK grip in rain and dry for a daily driven car. Squeal a bit when pushed even 8/10. My Continental extreme contacts in 215/45/17 seemed similar in dry grip but much better in the rain. Yet these were a whole size smaller than the 18" Generals. Wear seems good but again, not as good as the Continentals. Tires are somehwhat noisy on blacktop roads but the sidewalls are surprisingly more stiff than I expected.

Overall, I'd not buy these tires again, there are better options out there.

I got these with the wheels I bought, tires were basically new, I've put 4,000 miles on them and I say I'd give these a 6/10. Next tires will be something in a 235/40/18 or a 245/40/18. May just go back with my Continental extremes I had on my OEM 17" wheels. Continentals are a all season z-rated tire vs the generals I have on now. Since the car is AWD and I daily drive it, I do not launch the car or do power drifts. IMy driving is yoru usual spirited driving in a car with stiffer suspension than stock (WL ALK, F/R sways, Endlinks, Epic springs, stock struts), I just expected better grip from a Z-rated tire than the General UHP provides.
